It has been a few years since the time of Eragon Shadeslayer and Saphira Brightscales and no dragons have been seen ever since. Until Lengor's days.

Lengor is a 15-year-old boy from Carvahall who thinks he's just living an ordinary life when he comes across the strange girl, Farina. She claims to be needing his help with something involving the Spine and Lengor, being kind-hearted agrees to help with whatever trouble she's in.

In the Spine, Farina and Lengor come across a strange rock blocking a cave. After tediously pushing the rock aside, they discover an amazing cave with an ancient secret. For generations before Eragon and Saphira's time, dragons migrated across the land to lay eggs in the Spine, where no one ever suspected to look. Now Lengor and Farina have uncovered this secret, but that's not all.

Lengor is transfixed with the stunning beauty of the cave and, venturing father inside, finds the cluster of eggs. He touches one and it hatches into a mahogany brown dragon which he names Stonaga soon after.

Lengor and Stonaga are a team now, but that is just the beginning. Upon venturing back, they come across two men searching for the cave. Frightened and frustrated, Stonaga attacks them, and the trio flees to Ellesméra where they meet Vanir, the Elder of the city.

Vanir reveals that Lengor is the grandson of Galbatorix. Devastated at the discovery and angry at himself, Lengor takes the now grown Stonaga and flees back to the Spine where he meets the mysterious Snike, who, later on informs him that they are brothers.

Brothers with the exact opposite will.

Snike wants to rebuild the Empire and finish what Glabatorix started while Lengor wants to sustain peace throughout the land. After failing in persuading Lengor to join his cause. Snike leaves with his newly hatched Paella.

But these are not the only destinies waiting to be unravelled. Shruiken, the great dragon of Galbatorix survived his time and roams the Spine as a 'wild dragon.' No one knows of him until a young dragon stubles upon him one day. Will Lengor convince the old dragon to join the cause and fight for peace once again? Or will Shruiken side with the side of his old Rider?

Soon new dragons hatch and choose their side and two new kingdoms are established. Same blood, different destinies. Who will win Alagaësia?

Join the adventure and journey with Lengor or Snike throughout Alagaësia to find a destiny more shocking than you could ever imagine.
